About SNP
Secondary School

SNP Secondary School is a tuition-free private high school located in Brantford, Ontario, situated on the traditional Haldimand Tract within Hodinohso:ni territory. We warmly welcome all students, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, and are committed to creating a learning environment that reflects and respects the rich cultural heritage of the land. By placing Indigenous knowledge and perspectives at the heart of our curriculum, we are redefining education to be more inclusive, meaningful, and connected to the world around us.

Our unique programs emphasize land-based learning and strong community connections, providing students with opportunities to build meaningful relationships and develop a deep sense of cultural pride. Beyond academics, we focus on preparing students for real-world success, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive after high school. At SNP Secondary School, education is about more than just grades, it’s about nurturing identity, fostering belonging, and empowering each student to shape their own future.

Small Class Sizes

Our small class sizes create a close-knit learning environment where every student is seen, heard, and supported. This allows for more one-on-one attention and deeper connections between students and teachers.

Part of the Six Nations Community

SNP Secondary School is deeply connected to the Six Nations of the Grand River; a vibrant community that guides and inspires everything we do. We honour the land, the people, and the traditions of Hodinohso:ni by valuing and fostering meaningful relationships with all of our neighbouring communities including but not limited to Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation MCFN), Brant & Brant County.

Indigenous Languages

We are proud to offer opportunities for students to learn and speak Indigenous languages like Mohawk and Cayuga and introductory Ojibwe, helping to preserve and celebrate cultural identity and language revitalization.

Caring and Support Staff

Our staff go beyond teaching to build meaningful relationships with students and are dedicated to their academic, emotional, and cultural growth. Every student is supported to succeed in their own way.
