Indigenous Languages
Revitalizing Language, Strengthening Identity
SNPSS is proud to offer courses in Indigenous languages such as Mohawk, Cayuga, and introductory Ojibwe. These classes support language revitalization efforts and help students connect with culture, identity, and community. For Indigenous students, it’s a chance to reclaim and strengthen ancestral knowledge; for all students, it’s an opportunity to learn with respect and understanding.
Indigenous Languages courses offered at SNP Secondary School:
- Grade 9: LMNAO, LNAAO, LNOAO
- Grade 10: LMNBO, LNABO
- Grade 11: LNMCO, LNACO
- Grade 12:LNMDO/EO, LNADO/EO

Rooted in revitalization and identity, students learn and speak languages like Mohawk, Cayuga and Ojibwe. Language learning strengthens cultural pride and connection to community.
